Job Description
University of Wisconsin – Madison McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research, Department of Oncology / Institute for Molecular Virology Faculty Position in Virology and Cancer

The McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research / Department of Oncology and the Institute of Molecular Virology are seeking outstanding candidates for a joint, tenure-track, assistant professor position in the area of cancer virology. The individual recruited to this position will conduct basic research in virology to understand processes governing the molecular basis, prevention and/or therapy of cancer. This individual will also participate in excellent, well funded, graduate and post graduate training programs and will be an active member of the human cancer virology program of the UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position provides access to the state-of-the-art research facilities for molecular and cell biology and numerous shared resources, including outstanding facilities for mouse genetics and generation of gene knockout and transgenic animals. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and a 2-3 page summary of research accomplishments and future research plans.
