Asst, Assoc, Full Clinical Professor Psychiatry Position #39220 The University of Central Florida, College of Medicine is seeking applications from outstanding clinician-educators in Psychiatry at all ranks to serve as faculty on a team building this century’s premier medical college. Faculty will collaborate in the development of the four year curriculum, with a focus on sychopathology during the organ-based systems modules, the psychiatry clerkship, and the teaching of communication skills and psychosocial issues in healthcare. The development of innovative teaching technologies and simulations is encouraged. Faculty will also be expected to spend a portion of time in clinical practice. Important concepts such as patient-centered and multidisciplinary care, preventive medicine, wellness, evidence-based medicine, geriatrics and patient safety will be emphasized throughout the curriculum.
