- PROVIDE high quality primary care, public health services, and lead their integration
- TRAIN the next generation of epidemiologists, family physicians, and public health professionals
Chief Purpose of this position
The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University is currently recruiting for a BC/BE family physician at our This position is located at VCU Health Family Medicine at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. We are seeking a Full-Time physician that will be involved in medical student teaching and could participate in departmental research programs. This position will come with a competitive salary and generous benefit package as well as the ability to earn clinical bonuses.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide the highest quality of primary care services to new and established patients in the community.
- Serve on hospital or departmental committees when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System
- Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
- Demonstrated experience working in, collaborating and fostering a diverse staff, residents and students through an engaged and emotionally safe approach
