We are expanding our Physician Insider network and seeking experienced physician advisors who have actively participated in medical school or residency admissions processes and are passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians.
Position Overview
We are seeking U.S. trained MD and DO physicians with meaningful admissions committee experience to serve as Physician Insiders for our premium advising programs. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for physicians who enjoy mentorship and want to make a meaningful impact on aspiring physicians.
Ideal candidates have participated in medical school admissions committees, residency selection committees, or other formal admissions processes where they actively reviewed applications, interviewed candidates, ranked applicants, or contributed to admissions decisions.
This role is particularly well-suited for residents, fellows, and attending physicians who want to leverage their experience to guide high-achieving students through competitive admissions pathways.
Candidates may advise students across a variety of programs, including our high-touch concierge advising services that require strategic mentorship and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and strategic advising to premedical and medical students
- Help students navigate medical school and residency admissions processes
- Leverage insights from personal admissions committee experience
- Guide students on application strategy, extracurricular development, personal branding, and career planning
- Conduct advising sessions virtually
- Review student progress and provide actionable recommendations
- Support students pursuing highly competitive medical schools, residency programs, and physician career paths
- Serve as a trusted mentor throughout a student's academic and professional development
Compensation
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
Compensation is determined based on factors including admissions committee experience, training level, advising experience, and overall qualifications.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree, MBBS permitted if residency training and/or fellowship completed in the US
- Current resident, fellow, or attending physician
- Meaningful participation on a medical school admissions committee or residency admissions committee
- Experience reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, ranking applicants, providing admissions recommendations, or participating in admissions decisions
- Strong communication and mentorship skills
- Deep familiarity with the U.S. medical education system
- Ability to provide professional, student-centered advising
Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple years of admissions committee experience
- Experience advising or mentoring premedical, medical, or residency applicants
- Prior leadership roles within admissions committees
- Experience working with highly competitive applicants
- Experience supporting long-term advising relationships
- Interest in serving as a senior advisor within premium advising programs
Important Exclusions
- The following backgrounds do not meet the requirements for this position:
- International physicians without U.S. medical training
- Physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or other non-physician healthcare professionals
- Individuals whose admissions experience is limited to campus tours, student ambassador programs, volunteer recruitment activities, or similar non-decision-making roles
