Ambulatory Psychiatrist

VCU Health's Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA

Outpatient psychiatrist needed to service this beautiful Lake Gaston community!

The clinical services include:

• Psychopharmacology and psychotherapy services in our outpatient clinic. Clinic supports LCSWs, Advanced Practice Providers, LPN, patient care tech, patient access rep, and office manager. The position will be responsible for clinical care. Our ambulatory clinic sees a diverse group of patients and works collaboratively with other hospital Departments and community organizations. This position is based 3 miles from the main Community Memorial Hospital campus. Beautiful updated space, a patient-centric environment, serving 10 -15 patients per day, with a Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM schedule. Outpatient clinic only with no call.

Applicants should be a Virginia licensed or eligible, BC/BE psychiatrist with DEA licensure. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so.
